Marc Jacobs Beauty Cover(t) Stick Colour Corrector

Marc Jacobs Beauty Cover(t) Stick Colour Corrector

Marc Jacobs Beauty launched the cover(t) stick colour corrector back in June in Australia at Sephora exclusively. I got real excited being able to get a hold of these in-store because i noticed a few days later they were completely sold out and were only purchasable online.

Marc Jacobs Beauty cover(t) sticks colour corrector comes in 3 shades described as 'Demystify colour correction - targeting imperfections, conceal and create a balanced looking complexion. Velvety blurring pigments filter light for a soft - focus affect in 3 different marbleised shades'.

Cover(t) Affairs (300) - neutralising redness
Bright Now (310) - aims at neutralising discolouration and eliminating dullness
Getting Warmer (320) - for brightening effect for darker complextions

Initially i was umming-ahhing whether i wanted to get all 3 shades as they don't come cheap and i've never really used colour correctors in my makeup routine. I caved-in and went ahead and brought myself two out of the three shades that i thought i would get the most use out of. I decided to buy Marc Jacobs Beauty cover(t) stick colour corrector's in the shade; bright now and getting warmer.

First off i have to say that i'm really liking the packaging of these colour correctors 'tubes' - the design and size makes it so easy to use - whether its directly onto the skin, with fingers or brush. I'm not sure how everyone else are applying these colour corrector's but i figured that applying the product directly on the skin and blending with a brush was just as good as any way ..

Marc Jacobs Beauty cover(t) stick colour corrector products are quite creamy textured and blends outs sheer. Which i think is perfect for colour correcting products because anything thicker i think its gets abit hard to blend.
I went ahead and applied the product directly onto my skin and then just blend it with the Marc Jacobs Beauty  #15 The Shape Contour and Blush Brush - brush recommended to use with Marc Jacobs Beauty colour corrector.  The product is real easy to blend with the brush and feels amazing on the skin - feels like it was barely there and it smells amazing! (I feel like it might smell like a a particular Marc Jaocbs sent .. but i can't put my finger on it). Once its blended out i feel like its almost becomes primer-like because my eye concealer really stays in place and just makes the eye area brighter and makes all discolouration around the face look less noticeable throughout the day.

Overall i really like these Marc Jacobs Beauty colour corrector, since I've previously never been a big colour corrector user in my makeup routine i can say its converted me - i like how my overall make up looks when i need that bit of help - I definitely wouldn't any product thicker then these colour corrector because i generally go for the easy / barely there makeup look when i'm at work. I definitely think that Marc Jacobs have really got this all right from the packaging to the formula.
